The 94th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will honor the best films released between March 1 and December 31, 2021. Birthday – HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY (26)
On April 1, 1996 the provincial government amalgamated all municipal governments within Halifax County to create the Halifax Regional Municipality. The municipal boundary thus now includes all of Halifax County except for several First Nation reserves.
