Highway of Heroes Tribute Nova Scotia
This is a free event no registration fees or sign up. Everyone who participates in the event will be given a ticket for the free giveaways and a food ticket. Open to all modes of Transportation. This event is to honour those we have lost, honour those that are currently serving and those that are Veterans of Police, Fire, EMS, and Military. Founded by Laura Elliot Allen and Sherry Donovan, The Bats & Builders Softball Tournament supports the SHYM Program at the YWCA. The SHYM Program, Supportive Housing for Young Mothers, offers long-term housing, parenting support, and life skills development for young single mothers ages 16 to 24. Through guided goal planning and wraparound supports, participants can begin to dream and work towards the future they want for themselves and their family.
