Born November 30, 1955 in Stanmore, Middlesex, England. He first achieved fame in the 1970s emerging from the London punk rock scene as a member of Generation X. Subsequently, he embarked on a huge solo career. The name "Billy Idol" was inspired by a schoolteacher's description of him as "idle". Billy is a vegetarian. Thriller is the sixth studio album by Michael Jackson, released on November 30, 1982. In just over a year, Thriller became the world's best-selling album, having sold an estimated 66 million copies. The album sold one million copies worldwide per week at its peak. Horror movie legend Vincent Price was only paid $1000 for voicing the iconic intro to “Thriller”.
