RECORD STORE DAY (1 of 2)
Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. NATAL DAY
Natal Day is a public holiday in Nova Scotia, where it is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed. The Halifax-Dartmouth Natal Day events were cancelled last summer. The Natal Day committee looks forward to hosting the annual event in 2021 and celebrating over 125 years of Natal Day.

The Grammar Closet Sale will be hosted today at the Atlantic School of Theology Proceeds will be donated to Laing House and all unsold clothing to Phoenix House. Also a donation will be made to altruism at Halifax Grammar School to support future students in their efforts to impact change and make a difference.
