MOBILE HOUSEHOLD SPECIAL WASTE DEPOT EVENT

Residents looking to dispose of unwanted household special waste can bring their materials to the mobile special waste depot events happening this September. When: Saturday, October 2 Where: St. Margarets Bay Elementary, Head of St. Margarets Bay The mobile drop-off depot will be in operation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will take place rain or shine. CURBSIDE GIVEAWAY WEEKEND

October 16, 2021 - October 17, 2021

Residents are encouraged to place unwanted items at their curbs for prospective treasure hunters to haul away. Only place items at the curb that are free and clearly marked with a “FREE” sign. 23rd ANNUAL WALK AGAINST VIOLENCE

HAL-CON SCI-FI FANTASY AND COMIC CONVENTION

October 23, 2021 - October 24, 2021

The biggest, geekiest sci-fi convention in Atlantic Canada Hal-Con is a sci-fi, fantasy and gaming convention run completely by much-too-dedicated volunteers.  They are community focused, participating in many events around the Halifax Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia (such as other festivals, parades, and gaming events).
