National Nursing Week 2021 is May 10-16. It always occurs from the Monday to the Sunday of Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. The week draws attention to nurses, increasing the awareness of the public, policy-makers and governments of the many contributions of nursing to the well-being of Canadians. Each year a theme is developed by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) to showcase how nurses are central to addressing a wide range of health challenges.

INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST HOMOPHOBIA

RECORD STORE DAY (1 of 2)

Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally.
