SAINT PATRICK’S DAY
Saint Patrick's Day is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick (c. AD 385–461), the foremost patron saint of Ireland. Saint Patrick's Day is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, the province of Newfoundland and Labrador (for provincial government employees), and the British Overseas Territory of Montserrat.

The 94th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will honor the best films released between March 1 and December 31, 2021. It will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California Hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes, it is the first time since the 83rd Academy Awards in 2011 where the ceremony will feature multiple hosts.

64th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS

HALIFAX GREEK FEST
After two years of take-out, Greek Fest is back with an in-person festival this weekend Greek Fest takes place at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church at 1146 Purcells Cove Road, and runs from Thursday June 9 to Sunday June 12. CANADA DAY
Canada Day recognizes the birthday of our country. On July 1, 1867 Canada became a new federation with its own constitution by signing the Constitution Act - formerly known as the British North America Act.
