GET UP! with Dominik Diamond

Hi! I am Dominik. I arrived in Nova Scotia in January 2009 and even though I sound Scottish I scored 100% on my Canadian Citizenship test which was great because my pal Jamie only got 85% which means he’ll get kicked out of the country first, I imagine.

I have a wife, three kids and a cat, none of whom particularly like me, but that’s OK. I don’t like them much either. Actually, one of my kids is OK. It’s just that I can never remember which one.

My life was been utterly random on TV and radio on both sides of the Atlantic for over three decades. As a result, I have more stories than any other person on the radio. Most of them are funny. Some of them are true. Like the time I hung up the phone on David Beckham while he was chewing me out or that time I thought I had killed Michael Stipe from REM.

I like beer, video games, TV shows where cops don’t like each other at first, and chicken wings. Especially chicken wings. In fact, if I had to choose between chicken wings and my children? I’d ask you for extra salt and pepper seasoning and sriracha mayo on the side.
