Jurassic Park released in 1993
The North American release took place June 11, 1993. The first installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, it is based on the 1990 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton . The film won more than twenty awards, including three Academy Awards for its technical achievements in visual effects and sound design. Jurassic Park is the fifth best-selling VHS tape ever.
