The Canadian Immigration Museum at Pier 21 was born with much fanfare on July 1, 1999. Halifax Citadel National Historic Site 5425 Sackville St, Halifax, NS. July 1 Celebrate Canada's 152nd birthday. It all starts at noon with the firing of the iconic noon gun, followed by the traditional 21 gun salute near the main entrance. This free event will feature Canada Day cake.

The Queen Mary 2 will visit Halifax on July 2, July 26, Sept. 13 and Oct. 16.
