2019 Tour de France begins
July 6- July 28 July The 2019 Tour de France will be the 106th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's three grand tours. The start of the 2019 Tour (known as the Grand Départ) will be in Brussels in honour of the 50th anniversary of the first Tour de France win of Eddy Merckx. It will be the second time the Grand Depart will take place in Brussels and will be the fifth Belgian Grand Depart.

Halifax Regional Municipality says the outdoor pool at the Halifax Common will be closing on Monday, July 8 at 5 p.m. until further notice. Crews will be investigating water loss at the facility and it's not yet known how long the repairs will take.
