National Ice Cream Day
The third Sunday of July is National Ice Cream Day (July 21) Grapenut ice cream was created by Hannah Young while working at The Palms Restaurant in Wolfville in 1919. Moon Mist ice cream is found in Atlantic Canada only. The name implies it is out of this world and it is!! Moon Mist is a combination of banana, grape and bubblegum flavours. Born Donald Hugh Henley (July 22, 1947) in Gilmer, Texas.
