Rush on the big screen
Fans will get to see Rush together again, albeit not on the live stage. The band will hit the silver screen on Aug. 21 for Rush: Cinema Strangiato 2019. Billed as the first "Annual Exercise in Fan Indulgence," the one-day-only screening will feature an assortment of song performances and backstage footage from the band’s 2015 R40 40th anniversary tour. August 23rd, 2019. 5425 Sackville St., Halifax. For info : 902-426-5080 The Halifax Citadel’s iconic 78th Highlanders (Ross-shire Buffs) exercise the Freedom of the City of Halifax. This time honoured tradition dates as far back as the Roman Empire, and was originally granted to military units that had gained the trust of a municipality.
