John Cameron Fogerty (born May 28, 1945) Berkeley California. He founded the band Creedence Clearwater Revival, for which he was the lead singer, lead guitarist and principal songwriter. The group had nine top-ten singles and eight gold albums between 1968 and 1972, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993

Released May 29, 1984. It was her fifth studio album. The album was promoted throughout 1985 in a 177-date worldwide tour entitled the Private Dancer Tour. With 1984's What's Love Got to Do With It?, Tina became the oldest female artist to have US number one hit. However, she reputedly found much of the accompanying Private Dancer album too wishy-washy: she'd wanted to cut a hard-rock record in the style of AC/DC.

May 30th Edward Snowden will deliver a keynote address at Dalhousie University as part of their Alumni Days Open Dialogue series. The former American intelligence officer and fugitive will speak about security, privacy and surveillance via livestream from Moscow, Russia on May 30. Snowden made international headlines in 2013 after leaking thousands of NSA documents to journalists, which resulted in a criminal complaint from the U.S. government.
