Paul McCartney’s birthday

Born  June 18, 1942 in Liverpool, England. His songwriting partnership withJohn Lennon remains the most successful in history.  He’s a accomplished painter. The first musical instrument Paul played was the trumpet. Paul was made an honorary detective by the NYPD after giving a charity concert for 9/11. Paul McCartney officially played his first gig as a member of The Quarrymen (the group that evolved into The Beatles) on October 18, 1957. The concert took place at the Conservative Club, and for Paul’s first solo, he was (naturally) a bit nervous. His voice kept cracking, much to the gleeful delight and derisive laughter of bandmate John Lennon.
