Bruce Springsteen released Born in the USA

Released : June 4, 1984.  It was his 7th studio album.  It produced seven top-10 hit singles and was promoted with a worldwide concert tour by Springsteen. Born in the U.S.A. became his most commercially successful album and one of the highest-selling records ever, having sold 30 million copies. The title track was first recorded acoustically. ‘Cover Me’ was originally written for disco star Donna Summer. Annie Leibovitz shot the album cover. 70 songs were written for the album. Born In The U.S.A. was the first CD manufactured in the United States for commercial release.
