Education minister Karen Casey says the next move in the contract dispute with the teachers is up to the union.

Casey says the government is no longer at the bargaining table after the union membership twice rejected tentative agreements. She says she has to hold salaries to the government’s pattern for all public sector workers, 3% over four years. Casey wouldn’t comment on the possinbility of the government outlawing any potential strikle.
