Timberlea woman attacked in overnight home invasion

RCMP are investigating after a Timberlea woman was victimized by a home invasion this morning.  She was sleeping at 3 when a man jumped on her, tried to choke her and hit her with a metal object.  She got away and fled to a neighbour’s home, ultimately going to hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.  Call police with any information.
