Alternative voting methods now open for HRM elections

The alternative voting period for the municipal and school board elections is now open. All eligible voters in the Halifax Regional Municipality may choose to cast their vote in this manner, which includes e-voting and phone voting.

The alternative voting period continues until Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m. In order to participate in e-voting, all eligible voters should have received a Voter PIN along with additional instructions on their voter information letter, which was mailed last week. Residents not currently in possession of this letter are advised to check their mailbox or contact our Voter Helpline.
