Retired HRP officer charged with assaulting wife, stepdaughter

A retired Halifax Regional Police officer has been charged with assault.  52-year-old Stewart Travis is accused of incidents in Bridgetown, with his stepdaughter in April and wife in May.  He hadn’t retired at that point, and SIRT has laid the charges after an investigation.  He’s due in Annapolis Royal court November 24th.
