Canada-Europe free trade deal

Belgium is still trying to convince the region of Wallonia to drop its opposition to the free trade agreement between Canada and the E-U. Prime Minister Trudeau is set to fly to Brussels today to sign the historic trade deal…but Belgium has to agree or it’s doomed.

Belgium’s foreign minister says discussions with its reluctant region of Wallonia worked very well and they’re closer to a compromise.
