In baseball….the Blue Jays beat Baltimore 5-3.  Red Sox remained two games behind by beating the Rays 8-6.  Yankees needed 13 innings to edge the Royals 5-4.

CFL action….B-C beat Toronto 16-13.

In tennis…Canada’s Milos Raonic and Vesek Pospisil were eliminated in their second round matches at the U-S Open.
