Crime down in HRM…except or murders

Crime was down overall in H-R-M by 1% in the second quarter of the year. Police and RCMP released the latest stats showing violent crime dropped 8%, although homicides were up 200% and attempted murders by about 17%.

Property crime rose over 3%, although break-and-enters were down over 18%.
