Teachers strike???

The Education Minister has no plans to resume bargaining after teachers voted overwhelmingly against the last tentative contract.

The Union executive is now considering holding a strike vote.  Karen Casey says it’s too early to say if the province would pass anti-strike legislation or invoke Bill 148 to bring in wage restraint on public sector workers.
