King’s students protesting against higher tuition

On Monday the day that tuition fees are due, students at the University of King’s College will be holding a protest again increasing tuition fees. Students paying their fees will be encouraged to write on the walls outside the financial services office what they would have rather spent their tuition dollars on.

Average tuition fees at King’s are $7,200. This fall the King’s Board of Governors will be holding a vote on whether to increase tuition fees by an additional $500 in 2017-18 and 2018-19. This increase would be on top of the 3% tuition fee cap.
