Halifax bus fares going up

Starting September 30th.

The adult fare on a conventional bus will increase to $2.75 from $2.50 and the seniors (65 and over) and youth fare will jump to $2 from $1.75.The fare for a regional express, the MetroX bus, will increase from 3.50 to 4.25.
