Recount confirms Cleary win

District’s 9’s new councillor Shawn Cleary will be sworn-in at Regional Council today after a judicial recount yesterday showed he did win election night…by 107 votes over Linda Mosher who held the district for 16 years.

Mosher requested a recount after online allegations by the Dawkfather PHD that Mosher was cheated out of 311 votes.  Mosher’s campaign team informed police who found insufficient evidence for charges.
