St. Francis Xavier University

StFX will suspend all in-person classes Monday March 16th to Friday March 20th. This will permit our instructors the time necessary to assess how programs will be delivered through to the end of the term.

Acadia University

Acadia University remains open but suspends classes March 16 – 20 and cancels in-person classes March 23 – April 3. Exams will not be in-person. Students who choose to leave campus before residence closes on April 19 will have our support.

Dalhousie University and the University of King's College

In-person classes and labs for Dalhousie and King’s students will be suspended next week (March 16-20) as a preventative measure to increase social distancing and allow instructors time to shift to alternative means of teaching.

Halifax Regional Centre for Education

Suspending all extra-curricular activities, including sports, until the end of April.

Mount Saint Vincent University

Effective March 16, all in-person classes & labs will be suspended for the remainder of the term. Online classes will continue. Faculty asked to move to different modes of delivery. Campus & residences will remain open. Read recent update in full: http://msvu.ca/coronavirus

Saint Mary’s University

Suspending all face-to-face classes for 1 week starting on Monday, March 16, 2020, in order to allow the university appropriate time to assess how educational programs will proceed.
