Something you’ve done that you never thought you’d do?
Had the opportunity to work with Disney doing red carpet interviews for the Marry Poppins 40th Anniversary and launch of the special edition DVD at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood California – November 30 2004. Interviewed original cast including Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke and other cast and guests. It was an incredible experience.
What’s one place you want to visit?
Been around the globe a few times – still want to see Thailand!
What’s the worst fashion choice you ever made?
So Many …. but the worst would have been a metallic blue suit at a formal that stood out a little too awkwardly. Looked good in theory – looked a little cheap and weird in reality… Never lived that one down!
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
Spent time on the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rain-forest North Queensland Australia. Most spectacular diversity of animal, marine, plant and reef life I have ever experienced!
What do you do with your free time?
Spending time with family – wife and little girl. We love to hike, camp and travel.
First album you bought?
Rio – Duran Duran in cassette format – played it so much it wore out – bought it again…
What would your last meal be?
RIBS and WINGS with BEER!!
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
You get to invite 3 people dead or alive to dinner. Who do you invite?
1) My dad – he died when I was 8 – would love to catch up, 2) Jennifer Anniston because I love her! LOL and 3) Tom Cruise – because he is sharp, concise and adrenalized – he would be a challenge to hang with – which makes him an interesting dinner guest!
What’s your biggest fear?
Very Tiny Spaces – claustrophobia
Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met?
During my time in radio got to meet so many great iconic celebrities but one of my favourites – I got to meet and interview Jon Bon Jovi three times to the point that he called me brother man – every-time we met!
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I have dual citizenship Canadian / Australian!
What movie title best describes your life?
‘Risky Business’ – (Always taking risks and living life to the fullest)
What’s the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
Working in the radio biz – an industry I love and has opened so many unique and exciting opportunities – meeting talented people and exploring things I never thought possible.
Luckiest thing that ever happened to me was scoring an opportunity in radio broadcasting.
