DESCRIPTION:Recycle Your Cycle is a great Rotary Club of Sackville and Area community program happening throughout April and May!  \nDrop off your gently used bicycles at Sportwheels from April 3rd\, 2023 to May 31st\, 2023\, at 209 Sackville Dr.\, Lower Sackville during regular business hours. Sportwheels will fix them up and turn them over to The Salvation Army which will then provide them to families in need. Junk Works ensures waste materials are picked up and properly disposed of\, including further recycling of parts where the opportunity exists. Working together our goal is to give over 100 bikes to families in need this season.  \nWe are big believers in “Giving Forward Together” and thank you so much for bringing joy to those who will receive your gently used bikes. \nOTHER WAYS TO HELP\nYou can donate\, as your budget allows\, to help the Rotary Club of Sackville and Area buy helmets too! SUMMARY:Spring Duck Run Race
DESCRIPTION:Spring Duck Run is a FUNdraiser for The Sackville Rivers Association and Acadia Recreation Club. Local businesses and families are invited to purchase ducks of all sorts to race down our -incredible river! \nFamily ducks can be purchased for $5 each or a pack of three for $10. Corporate ducks are $100 or a quack pack of three for $250. Families will race their ducks at noon on April 29th! \nCorporate ducks can be decorated\, dressed\, and painted! The best-looking corporate duck wins a trophy! Corporate ducks race at 11 am! \nEnjoy a cash BBQ hosted by the Sackville Kinsmen! Free outdoor games will be hosted for the kiddos. \nTo purchase family or corporate ducks and enter the race contact the Sackville Rivers Association at 902-865-9238 or Linda Hefler at 902-488-8070. Family ducks will be available for purchase on-site the day of the races.   \nCome on out on April 29th. Little Sackville River along the new paved Sackville Greenway trail by the Pit ball diamond.  \n
