Here’s an interesting idea for pet lovers. A pub in Ireland is having its first “Doggy Date” evening on September 26th.
Every dog “parent” feels the heartache of leaving their dog at home while they head out for a night on the town.
The Phibsborough Pub in Dublin is offering 2 main meals and wine from the “Wuff and Ready” menu and a “doggy” meal for approximately $60 Canadian.
I can see it now:
The waiter comes up to the dog and asks “”What would you like?””
The dog replies “”Ah, I think I’ll have the spaghetti and………………….meatballs.”
Waiter says: “Sure, but what’s with the pause?”
Dog looks down at his paws and says “I don’t know, I’ve had them all my life.”
Setting aside government regulations”(and this lame attempt at humour), could this work in Halifax? Would you go?
