If you’ve ever bought some foam furniture you may be entitled to some cash.
Due to a recent out-of-court class action lawsuit brought against about a dozen manufacturers of flexible polyurethane foam you may have some easy money waiting for you. All you have to do is prove you were a Canadian citizen and purchased a foam-based household good such as a mattress, couch, chair or carpet between Jan. 1, 1999, and Jan. 10, 2012
Reidar Mogerman, one of the lead lawyers behind the suit explained how easy it is for Canadians to receive this money. “You just take a picture of that tag and that will tell us that you purchased the right kind of furniture,” he said. “If you have that picture and you submit it, you’re going to get a minimum of payment of $20.”
